In most cases this would have been an easy repair, but the Dell was Fighting back! After replacing the DC Jack I went to plug in the Connector and the Female Connector just fell off the circuit board, so I have to get out my solder paste and re-solder that top the board. Also the top palmrest female nut insert was snapped off from normal wear and tear near the DC Jack Area, I first tried re gluing the insert, but soon as i went to put in the screw it popped out. So i opened my secret epoxy gun and epoxied the entire left side corner palmrest to the case, Now the DC Jack area is solid as a rock! and there will be one happy customer! The Dell now Charges up to 100% and all functions work correctly.
